THE EXCURSION : We depart at approximately 9 Am and head towards the Gozo Ferry Terminal located at Cirkewwa on the Western side of Malta. We then board the ferry and the crossing lasts 25 minutes. Once on Gozo a briefing will be given on the places and the route we will follow. The guide will also be giving some general knowledge about Gozo. All this will be done at the first waypoint.

The route we pursue will take us all around Gozo. We visit the main attractions such as the Azure window, Inland sea, Victoria and the Citadel, as well as Ramla bay, however we will concentrate on places that are not usually visited by the traditional excursion routes by taxis or buses. Much of the route is through countryside roads or dirt -tracks, and we emphasize on avoiding main roads. Many of the beautiful unspoilt areas in Gozo may be only seen this way.

Highlights include : Beautiful rock formations, sheer 100 metre cliffs, valleys with terraced fields, picturesque coves, grottos, quaint villages, sculptured churches, Ramla Bay ( A beach with orange coloured sand), a walk around the citadel and the old part of Victoria

4 Hour Tour >> Dingli Cliffs, Fomm Ir-Rih, Ghajn Tuffieha & Golden Bay (Views) Popeye Village, Mgiebah Bay (swimming)
This tour is designed for those people who wish to spend a few hours touring beautiful scenery on the west side of Malta. This part of the island is often claimed to be the most beautiful side with a continuously varying landscape. We start off from the meeting point and head towards the Dingli Cliffs where we shall briefly stop for a photo. This place is very much off the beaten track and unknown to many Maltese. After a few minutes we continue towards the village of Mgarr and eventually the sandy beaches of Ghajn Tuffieha and golden bay where we will leave the jeeps for a picture of these south westerly beaches. We leave the beaches driving through Manikata (a quaint & quiet village) and head towards the Popeye Village where we stop for an overhead photo. Our last stop will be a small and secluded beach unknown to many Maltese; Mgiebah. The exploring ends there with some late afternoon swimming (summer).

6 Hour Tour : We drive to the northwest side of the island to a small beach known as Mgiebah. In summer we stop there for an hour for a refreshing swim. We will then drive through the quaint village of Mellieha and stop for a photo of the parish church, and architectural gem. Our route then takes us down to Popeye's Village where you may admire and photograph this fim set from a short distance away. We then head towards the sandy beach known as Ghajn Tuffieha where we will stop shortly for refreshments and a view or photo of the beach from above. Our next stop is Mgarr, a typical village where many Maltese flock to eat traditional rabbit during weekends. We then drive to see an overview of Fomm ir-rih bay, the last unspoilt bay in Malta. The route progresses then towards the Dingli Cliffs and the Blue Grotto where we shall stop occasionally to take pictures of these attractions. Our last stop would be at Marsaxlokk - Malta's main fishing village, where you will have time for a drink before returning to our point of departure.

8 Hour Tour : Just like the 6 hour tour but with the addition of a few extra places that are unknown even to locals and some more leisure time at each place. This tour will start in the morning and end late afternoon, early evening.

This is organised by your request as a private tour in the evenings

Bring your own dips, cheeses, wine, bread, crackers, olives, capers, salamis or whatever else tickles your fancy, we will pick you up in a jeep and drive you to a secluded and quiet spot along the South, lay out the rugs, light some oil lamps and celebrate the end of the day with a tasty picnic whilst sitting on the cliffs and enjoying the sunset. A good tour for groups of students who have become close friends with some of their other fellow students. Food can be organised by us at an extra cost.
